SCIENCE FEST &
EXHIBITION AT SNEHA JYOTHI VIDYALAYA SCHOOL,
POTHNAL
In
today’s era, education is not only confined to
reading and writing. It is now linked to the
holistic development of children. This is the
reason Sneha Jyothi Vidyalaya school, Pothnal is
leaving no stone unturned to help students to
experiment with their knowledge and are
providing them different opportunities to
showcase their skills. These include
exhibitions, and presentations. 11th February
2023 was the innovative and experimental day for
all the students as we conducted the Science
Exhibition by Students of Sneha Jyothi Vidyalaya.
A science exhibition is a wonderful tool that
engages students in learning new facts. It
develops in them the curiosity to learn more in
an interesting and experiential way. The event
commenced with the welcome speech by Miss
Neelamma followed by greetings and welcome by
students in English. Motivational words by CRP,
Sir Laxmikanth encouraged us to progress with
the event with more confidence. Inspired,
encouraged and motivated budding scientists of
SJV performed different experiments with great
enthusiasm and excitement. It was so wonderful
to watch students performing various experiments
which taught us that we and science are made for
each other. The experiments included various
innovative ideas. These experiments also
broadened our knowledge that science offers
answers to various questions we ask out of
curiosity and we need to understand the
importance of science.

TALENT FEST AT
SNEHA JYOTHI VIDYALYA, POTHNAL
“Hide
not your talents, they for use were
made, What's a sundial in the shade?”
Says Benjamin Franklin
Every artist was first an amateur.
Talent is something that makes you excel
in a task more than someone else. If you
are naturally good at something, you
have got the talent for it. Talent Hunt
is one such event, which gives a
platform to students to represent their
talents in any field. Keeping this in
mind, Fr. Sunil Cornelio, Headmaster of
SJV School organized on 23rd July 2022 a
virtual ‘Show your talent ‘session for
all the students. Students participated
enthusiastically and exhibited their
talent in various activities. Some sang
songs, some showcased their foot-tapping
moves, while others narrated stories or
recited rhymes. The students staged
spectacular performances in colorful
attires using fascinating props and
backdrops making all parents and their
teachers spellbound. These events not
only nurture the intrinsic qualities of
students but also remove stage fear in
them, which helps in their personality
development. Special efforts were made
to enhance the talent of those students
who have a natural flair for music,
dance, drama, art, craft, etc to bring
out their hidden talent.
